Cody French is a professional skateboarder based between Toronto & Los Angeles, with a career defined by discipline, longevity, and consistent performance across sport, fashion, and commercial media.

Like many Canadian athletes, Cody’s early athletic foundation was built through hockey and lacrosse. While he advanced competitively in lacrosse, it was skateboarding, that became his primary focus and long-term pursuit. What began as a personal obsession quickly developed into a professional path.

Skateboarding opened the door to extensive travel across North America, competing in many of the sport’s most respected contests. A defining early milestone came in 2015 when Cody competed at Tampa Am in Florida, widely regarded as the most prestigious amateur skateboarding contest in the world. Experiences like these helped establish his credibility within competitive skateboarding and shaped his approach to training, consistency, and performance.

Through early sponsorships, including West49, Cody was introduced to professional modeling, an avenue that naturally complemented his presence, work ethic, and personal style. Since then, he has continued to work across fashion and lifestyle projects while maintaining a strong and authentic connection to skateboarding culture.

In addition to skateboarding and modeling, Cody has built a substantial body of commercial and on-camera work. He has been featured in a number of national and international commercials, including projects for Apple, and has expanded into acting and stunt work. Most recently, he performed stunt and on-camera roles for the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia, further broadening his experience in film and television production.

Today, Cody’s work spans professional skateboarding, modeling, commercial production, and on-camera performance. His focus is centered on long-term performance, structured training, and projects that reflect a disciplined lifestyle rather than short-term trends. He continues to pursue select skateboarding, commercial, and screen projects, alongside new ventures currently in development.
